He belongs to one of the sister churches called Gandimpathar under the Rajasimla Reserve area. He has a good character and is sincere in his duties. He left home and started his theological career while young in age. He grew up in a Christian family. During his childhood, he usually attended Sunday School in his church but did not know about eternal life. He was involved in many bad things for years. His parents brought him to the Local Pastor and some lay leaders for counseling in such situations. But God wants him back for His heavenly agent and touched him to taste the love of His faithfulness first ever. He then became a child of God and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. Tengrak Momin took baptism by Mr. Relian S. Momin, Assistant Pastor of Rajasimla Baptist Church, in that year. By grace, he had an opportunity to go for theological degrees.
Tengrak did his first-degree course in Diploma in Theology (D.Th) in Bongaigaon, Assam. Later on, he also pursued further studies like the Bachelor of Theology (B.Th) course in Kerala, Master of Divinity (M. Div) course in Nagaland, and Master of Theology (M.Th) course in Bangalore. He has had struggles, financial instabilities, language barriers, and many others, but God’s grace and unceasing presence made him successful despite all these. He completed all his degrees on March 24, 2018, and Rajasimla Baptist Church appointed him as Director for Youth Ministry. He is the 2nd son of the family and has four siblings: Rikrak, Silrak, Senwar, and Noknara.
